Face to face diagnostic dyslexia assessment
For adults and children aged 8+
This comprehensive assessment investigates a person's cognitive profile, including underlying ability, working memory, phonological awareness and processing speed. In addition, reading, comprehension, spelling and handwriting are evaluated by the specialist assessor to support adults and children facing specific learning difficulties.
After the assessment the specialist assessor will provide verbal feedback and a diagnostic report.

Face to face dyscalculia screening
For adults and children aged 7+
This screening tests underlying ability, working memory, processing speed, attainment in maths and number sense to identify dyscalculic tendencies, a neurodevelopmental condition affecting mathematical understanding.
In addition to verbal feedback, the written report will recommend intervention strategies, including onward referral to a specialist teacher, to help the learner achieve their potential with school/university support.

Face to face and remote JCQ approved access arrangement assessments
For pupils in Years 10, 11, 12, 13
Access arrangements, such as extra time in exams, are reasonable adjustments for learners with learning difficulties. The assessments can be completed within the home, school, at our centre in Folkestone or remotely via Zoom.
The SENCo must provide a completed Part 1 of Form 8 in advance.

Face to face academic assessment
For children aged 5 to 7
This comprehensive assessment, led by a specialist assessor, includes verbal feedback and written findings. It explores underlying ability, working memory, phonological awareness and processing speed, alongside reading, comprehension, spelling and handwriting, to identify early signs of literacy or other learning difficulties.

Face to face dyscalculia diagnostic assessment
For adults and children aged 8+
Includes verbal feedback and a comprehensive, written report
Conducted by an Educational Psychologist, this in-depth assessment investigates underlying ability, working memory, processing speed, attainment in maths, number sense and executive functioning to formally diagnose dyscalculia.
