Many people don’t realise that their difficulties at work or school are due to dyslexia. A Kent Dyslexia Assessment investigates a person's strengths and areas of challenge. We make personalised recommendations that enable and empower people to overcome their difficulties and change their lives.
Kent Dyslexia provides in-person assessments across the South East of England. Our sister company, Dyslexia UK, provides online, remote assessments across the United Kingdom.
We believe that specific learning difficulties should not be a barrier to learning. We have a passion for supporting both young people and adults with overcoming their difficulties and leading successful, happy lives.
We have a team of highly qualified, experienced dyslexia assessors who provide dyslexia assessments and dyscalculia screenings both online and face to face, within your home or at our centre in Kent.

Face to face diagnostic dyslexia assessment
For adults and children aged 7+
Includes verbal feedback and a comprehensive, written report
The assessment will investigate underlying ability, working memory, phonological awareness and processing speed. In addition a person's reading, comprehension, spelling and handwriting are assessed

Face to face dyscalculia screening assessment
For adults and children aged 7+
Includes a detailed written report
The screener tests underlying ability, working memory, processing speed, attainment in maths and number sense to identify dyscalculic tendencies. The report will recommend intervention strategies to help the learner achieve their potential

For pupils in Years 10, 11, 12, 13
Access arrangement assessments can be completed within the school or remotely (online). Both individual and groups can be accommodated. The SENCo must provide a completed Part 1 of Form 8 in advance.
